Our Values

Our values represent the attitudes and activities that we emphasize at Transformation Church of God. Our values, based on the Bible, support our mission which is "To help people follow Jesus"

  • Experiencing God through prayer and worship. We want to continue growing in our knowledge of God, not just learning about Him.
 
  • Learning to be like Jesus (Discipleship). A Christian disciple is a learner and imitator of Jesus. One of the main ways we grow in the ways of Jesus is by renewing as we study God's word. 
 
  • Telling others about Jesus (Evangelism). This is a primary emphasis of Christ's church. We value sharing the good news about the hope, love, and power of our Savior, Jesus. 
 
  • Expecting God's intervention. We believe our God is Alive and Active in our lives and in the world. So we pray, seek God, and expect Him to manifest His Presence and power in our church and community. 
 
  • Sharing our lives (Fellowship). The Christian life is meant to be lived in community. We value friendships and building relationships with one another.
 
  • Every member a minister. The Bible teaches that all Christians are gifted to serve God and others. We value discovering and using our gifts for the glory of God.
